To Grandmother's house we go! :) Last year, Steve and I traveled to Indiana so that he could meet all of my family....most importantly Grandma. We did not bring the boys and they were so sad. We promised them that this year we would all go so we did...We left after school on the last day before break. After a very rough start (we forgot a few things and had to turn around a lot before we were actually on our way), we made it to Texarkana for the night. We got up on Saturday morning, stopped at the Arkansas welcome center and drove all the way to Nashville. We stayed with our friends, Mark and Mirella Neely and got up Sunday morning and drove into Grandma's. It was really a fairly easy trip considering how far it was. The boys were EXCELLENT travelers, and Stirling was magnificent as well.
On the way home, we spent the day in Nashville. It was so great to be able to spend some time at Vanderbilt. We love the state of Tennessee and would move there in a heartbeat if we were able....maybe some day. Here are some pictures while we were at Vandy...
